Developed by Biofeedback Therapist Jennifer Stephens, M.A.
"Jennifer Stephens first approached me about her interest in the treatment of urinary incontinence in 1992...When Jennifer described newer bladder control exercises which seemingly offered a “risk-free” alternative to surgery, I was very interested if slightly skeptical. At that time, there were only a few studies which discussed “pelvic floor rehabilitation” via biofeedback techniques. Jennifer’s experience with biofeedback and her excitement over its use to improve pelvic floor strength and decrease incontinence convinced me to look further.
I decided to take a chance on this new approach to incontinence and was not disappointed by what I observed over the years to come. My patients were clearly getting better after seeing Jennifer...."

Does antibiotics cause you to have a sensitive bladder?
After taking my antibiotics for my urine infection my bladder became very sensitive. Soda or juice urges me to urinate more often. Is this a common side effect? Will it possibly ever stop? Or does anyone know the reason why this is happenening? Is this curable? I LOVE soda
What can i do for a sensitive bladder during sex?
for the past few years i have had blood in my urine all the time. sometime its just a little but most of the time its a large amount. my bladder is very sensitive im always having bladder spasms, and its getting worse. now i don't care to have sex because when i do it feels like i have to pee the whole time. and yes i do go to the bathroom before hand. Is there anything i can do or take to minimize the sensitivity? I have seen a urologist they have ran test, done a cystiscope, didnt take a biopsy, but didnt figure out what was going on.
Sensitive bladder/urinary, been tested for EVERYTHING!?
For 3 years I've had these symptoms of a urinary tract infection. I've had a couple here but my OB GYN has no clue neither does my urologist or my primary dr. My urologist did find some of a staph infection in my bladder earlier in the year & I was put on meds to get rid of it. I've been on every kind of medication for bladder trouble, I've had a cystoscopy to test for IC negative & all my urinary tests are coming back negative. My OB GYN didn't feel I needed to have blood work done so I've never had that done. I work & about every 30 45 min I must go to the bathroom, I feel like I need to tighten my legs together cuz I feel I may go. She says that I might have a sensitive bladder where I can no longer drink juices or pop or nothing, nothing but water, nothing. I have been doing that for about 4 months now & I'm still having problems. My drs have no clue whats up, nothing works. when i pee its only like 6 seconds long & thats it, i wear cotton underwear all that. I get a yellowish kind of discharge too my dr says thats normal. I've had 2 paps smears already both came back all good, been tested for stds twice, IC tested came back negative, no signs of a yeast infection has I've taken diflican & monistat like 5 times already. I'm getting my thyroid checked out soon does that have anything to do with it? I'm always tired. Any ideas would be GREAT I could use anything right now No white on tongue. I've used antiboditics to see if the problem would go away. They gave them to me as kind of a " trial" i guess u can say. I've had yeast infections occur after using certain medications yes & I either used the monistat or the diflucan pill to get rid of it.Everyone was good except Versant whatever. Thank you but i've had a urologist for quite some time. And after seeing your profile maybe you should be the one to get a counselor for trying to answer thousands of yahoo questions a day just to " build up your percentage on yahoo" . Why bother if every answer is " talk to your 'insert name'" on almost all questions

I actually begged my OB GYN for me to have some blood work done just to check & see for diabetes and or any other problems as blood can show many things. She told me know because of my age 22 that I shouldn't be having anything really wrong because I'm so young to sugar. I do want my primary dr to do blood work for me & I will be bringing that up as well as to check the thyroid. I've never had blood work done in my life & if I'm willing to just to make sure my body is in order why not.sokokl do you any else about it? like how it could or what not? I mean I'm getting checked to see if I'm hypothyroid. thanks
